Billy Davies: Forest belief is back - Majewski
Midfielder Radoslaw Majewski says Nottingham Forest are already playing with much more belief following Billy Davies' return as manager.
The Scot was named Reds boss for a second time last week and masterminded a thumping 6-1 win over Huddersfield Town in his second game on Tuesday.
Polish midfielder Majewski scored a hat-trick and credited Davies for the instant improvement.
"This manager has got our confidence back," he told BBC East Midlands Today.
"We have got the same players but our confidence is back. We play much better, much quicker and with more energy."
Forest remain six points adrift of a Championship play-off place but Majewski, who had not scored in 20 appearances this season until his first-half treble against the Terriers, feels Davies has restored a positive attitude to the City Ground.
"Under this manager we can do much better as we showed, so we are just looking forward to another game," Majewski added.
"Everyone is looking after everyone. If someone loses the ball, another player tries to get it back. We have got the team spirit at the moment."
Davies added: "At the beginning we were very slack. We gave the ball away too much, the pace of our game was too slow and we didn't put enough tackles in. We went behind and quite rightly so.
"But then the reaction was excellent. We scored some great goals and it was a magnificent performance. The players' effort and attitude was top class. We worked ever so hard.
"It's important that Henri Lansbury and Majewski and all these other good midfield players start to contribute and score some goals.
"We have good players here but we have to fulfil potential. It was a huge three points."
