Morton extended their lead at the top of the First Division to five points with a home victory against Livingston.

Martin Hardie converted Peter MacDonald's pass to put the hosts ahead on the quarter-hour mark.

Iain Russell levelled for Livi with a 25-yard strike eight minutes into the second half.

But MacDonald headed home Michael Tidser's left-wing cross midway through the second half to claim all three points for Morton.
