Missed chances cost Sunderland - O'Neill

Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill says his side's inability to take their chances cost them as they lost 3-0 away to Liverpool at Anfield.

A Raheem Sterling strike followed by a Luis Suarez brace saw off the Black Cats, who are four points above the bottom three.

O'Neill admits he needs to bring in "reinforcements" in January's transfer window to improve the club's chances of avoiding relegation.
