Cheltenham's game against League Two's bottom-placed side Bristol Rovers has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch at the Abbey Business Stadium.

"High winds overnight fended off the majority of rain but heavy rainfall this morning has made the pitch unplayable," a club statement said.

"A match official made the decision this morning.

"Groundsman Terry Roberts had been working extremely hard to get the game on but the weather made it impossible."
