No Bent walkout - Villa boss Lambert
- From the section Football
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert insists he has nothing personal against his striker Darren Bent who was left out of their 1-0 Premier League win over Reading, the second successive match he has been omitted from the match day squad.
Lambert denies rumours that Bent had walked out of the dressing room when the team was announced, and says he picks a team that he thinks will win and doesn't have "any problem with anybody" at the club.
Lambert praises 21-year-old Belgian striker Christian Benteke, who scored the winner against the Royals, saying "what a future he has in the game."
