QPR showed they can stay up - Bowen

QPR assistant manager Mark Bowen believes the club's players demonstrated to incoming boss Harry Redknapp that they have what it takes to avoid relegation, despite losing 3-1 at Manchester United.

Bowen took charge of the the team for the trip to Old Trafford following the departure of Mark Hughes on Friday, with the newly-appointed Redknapp watching from the stands.

QPR remain bottom of the Premier League but Bowen admits he would like to remain at the club "if the opportunity is there".
