Cisse absence a blow - Pardew

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew says the decision by the Senegal Football Federation to block Papiss Cisse from playing against Swansea was "tough to take".

Newcastle lost 2-1 at St James' Park after Michu and Jonathan de Guzman helped the Swans secure their first win against the Magpies in 32 years.

Cisse withdrew from Senegal's squad for a friendly in Niger this week, citing a back problem, but Senegal invoked Fifa's five-day rule after claiming they were not sent details of Cisse's condition.
