Queen's Park 0-4 Stranraer

Sean Winter scored a hat-trick as Stranraer booked a Scottish Cup fourth-round tie at home to Dundee United with a dominant win over nine-man Queen's Park in their third-round replay.

After a scrappy start to the match, the Second Division visitors took the lead in the 16th minute when Stranraer midfielder Winter beat Spiders goalkeeper Neil Parry from 25 yards out.

The Third Division hosts had midfielder Giuseppe Capuano sent off for a second bookable offence when he fouled Michael Moore in the 60th minute.

Stranraer then doubled their lead three minutes later when Winter got on the end of Craig Malcolm's cross to head home from six yards out to net his second of the match.

Things went from bad to worse for Queen's Park just five minutes later when James Brough was shown a red card for violent conduct after fouling Malcolm.

Christopher Aitken then headed in from close range in the 70th minute.

Winter completed his hat-trick from 20 yards seven minutes later.
