Norwich showed character - Hughton

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton praises his side's character as they reach the quarter-finals of the Capital One League Cup for the first time in 18 years after beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Carrow Road.

The visitors dominated for most of the game and went ahead through Gareth Bale's 66th minute strike, but Norwich hit back through a deflected Alex Tettey shot and Simeon Jackson's poached effort.

The victory sets up a last eight meeting against Aston Villa who are managed by former Canaries boss Paul Lambert.
