NI boss lauds Portugal training camp

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill says the week spent in Portugal prior to the World Cup qualifier in Porto was "hugely important" for his squad.

The Irish boosted their World Cup qualification prospects as they held the world's third-ranked team Portugal to a 1-1 draw in Porto.

"There's a sense of trying to get everything done with the players leading into the game. This time we didn't have that."
