Chesterfield 1-1 Rochdale
Jack Lester's last-minute equaliser rescued a point for Chesterfield at home to Rochdale in League Two.
The hosts had two chances cleared off the line early on while Dele Adebola placed a shot wide when through on goal at the other end.
Andrew Tutte fired the visitors ahead after the break with a fine strike that flew into the net from 25 yards out.
The Spireites laid siege to their opponents' goal and were rewarded when Lester nodded in a last-gasp leveller.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Chesterfield manager John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I definitely think we deserved something from the game.
"Rochdale are a good team and they had lots of possession but we created some really good chances.
"Putting the ball in the back of the net is just not going for us.
"I'm pleased we got something out of the game. If we can keep the ball in the opposition's half, we'll be a threat this season."
Rochdale manager John Coleman told BBC Radio Manchester:
"We've buckled at the death when he shouldn't have.
"They hadn't been near our goal for 44 minutes of the second half.
"We didn't kill them off when we had the opportunity, we gave the ball away cheaply in the last five minutes and we defended sloppily right at the end."
