Inverness manager Terry Butcher lines up seven signings
Terry Butcher hopes to reveal the first of up to seven new signings before Inverness Caledonian Thistle begin pre-season training on 29 June.
The Scottish Premier League club say negotiations are at an advanced stage, with several players already looking for homes in the Inverness area.
"Names cannot be revealed just now as their contracts at other clubs have not yet expired," said Butcher.
"But they have committed their futures to us and that is very satisfying."
Caley Thistle suffered an exodus of 10 first-team players at the end of the season.
Goalkeeper Ryan Esson agreed a new deal, but defenders Ross Tokely and Thomas Piermayr, midfielders Greg Tansey, Jonny Hayes and Owain Tudur Jones, plus strikers Gregory Tade and Billy McKay, were also all out of contract.
Tokely will face his former club next season after joining promoted neighbours Ross County, Tade will also be in opposition for St Johnstone, Aberdeen say Hayes has agreed to join them after rejecting a new deal, while Tansey is joining League One outfit Stevenage despite overtures from Motherwell.
Wigan Athletic defender Roman Golobart, Bradford City centre-half Steve Williams and Wolves striker Sam Winnall all returned to their parent clubs at the end of their loan spells with Caley Thistle.
However, Butcher insisted he was pleased with his team rebuilding at Caledonian Stadium.
"I'm more than happy with the progress that has been made on bringing in new players and we've certainly benefited from doing the spadework very early," he told his club website.
"Some can be named within the next week to 10 days, but the fact that they are checking out homes and schools in Inverness speaks for itself.
"I expect them all to be at Fort George when pre-season training begins and I'm confident our supporters will be pleased with who we've been able to bring in on our restricted budget."
