Leyton Orient 0-3 Notts County

Notts County moved to within two points of the play-offs after victory at Leyton Orient who are now just four points above the relegation zone.

Damion Stewart took advantage of Orient keeper Jamie Jones' fumble to lash home from close range for the opener.

Jeff Hughes doubled their lead with a tap-in from four yards for his 16th goal of the season after winger Lloyd Sam had carved the opening.

Orient's misery was completed when Sam slammed the ball home from 12 yards.

Credit to coaching staff - Curle

"Today I think a lot of credit goes not only to the players but also to the coaching staff. They spent a lot of time - Colin Lee, Chris Kiwomya, Colin West, Kevin Pilkington - we spent a lot of time looking at the game today. We knew today we needed a plan A and a plan B.

"The team selection goes down to them whereby we shuffled the pack, we travelled with 22 players and it worked. I think they played something like Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday, Friday, so we knew the game could be won in the second half - that's when we played our plan B."
