Walsall 2-2 Bournemouth

Steve Fletcher grabbed a last-minute equaliser as Bournemouth fought back from two goals behind to snatch a dramatic draw at struggling Walsall.

The Saddlers looked in control when Jon Macken drilled home Richard Taundry's low cross and Andy Butler added a second, heading in from close range.

Bournemouth's Michael Symes converted a penalty following a rash challenge from Lee Beevers on Marc Pugh in the area.

Fletcher won his side a point late on, heading in a fine Simon Francis pass.

Walsall's veteran goalkeeper Jimmy Walker, 38, equalled a club record as he made his 529th appearance for the Saddlers.

Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury told BBC Radio Solent:

Bradbury calls for more consistency

"It's nice to be on the end of a late equaliser instead of a receiving one and in the second half we were fantastic, really hard working and resolute.

"It was a game of two halves really. In the first half we didn't really start and were off the pace, but in the second when we were playing well, it changed the game.

"We've got to address what happened in the first half because I don't want it to happen again. We want to play for 90 minutes and not 45 - we need to be consistently good."
