Lincoln City 3-0 Ebbsfleet Utd
John Nutter and Conal Platt scored their first goals for Lincoln as they eased to victory over 10-man Ebbsfleet.
On-loan striker Platt stroked home the opener from 20 yards before Simon Russell fired into the top corner from the edge of the box to make it 2-0.
Yado Mambo then saw red for Ebbsfleet when he bundled over Alan Power with the midfielder through on goal.
Nutter completed the visitors misery with a left-foot strike from outside the area to complete the scoring.
The victory lifts the Imps five points clear of the relegation zone.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth told BBC Lincolnshire:
"Persistence is what got us the victory.
"We tried to implement a style of football and kept doing the right things. In this division you have to compete and we did the ugly part of the game as well but we played some fantastic two-touch football.
"There were three good goals which is something we've been working on and my only criticism is that we didn't hit the target enough, which sounds selfish but I expect high standards, but all in all I'm very pleased."
Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish tells BBC Radio Kent:
"We started to get on top second-half, the ref's given a soft free-kick, and it's too easy, we let someone bring the ball down, turn and put it in the net.
"First half was even. We had more chances than them.
"I'm frustrated with a number of things, the ref being one of them. There were some strange decisions all day long."
