Millwall announce reduced losses

Millwall have announced reduced losses of £600,000 for 2010-11, compared to £3.4m in the previous year.

It reflects the club's successful return to the Championship and represents their best figures since they reached the FA Cup final in 2004.

Chairman John G Berylson told the club website: "The 2010-11 campaign was a very satisfactory one, with the team finishing a creditable ninth.

"The progress made by the team has been matched by that off the field."
