Campbell and Buckle end Bristol Rovers contract row
Bristol Rovers have said manager Paul Buckle and midfielder Stuart Campbell have now "cleared the air" after a recent row over the player's future.
Last week Buckle told BBC Points West that he had given Campbell's name to other clubs after contract negotiations broke down.
But Campbell, 33, insisted he did not want to leave Rovers when his deal expired next year.
A statement on their website read: "All parties have agreed on a way forward."
It continued: "Both parties have agreed that any further contract negotiations will be dealt with at the appropriate time, and in private. A line has now been drawn under the whole affair."
Campbell has been with the League Two club since 2004 and has made 340 appearances.
After his arrival Buckle offered Campbell a player-coach contract but it is thought the midfielder turned it down.
He has not made an appearance for Rovers since 22 October in the 2-1 defeat by Burton Albion.
