Goalkeeper Steve Collis signs Macclesfield Town deal

Collis made four appearances on loan at Northampton last season

Macclesfield Town have signed goalkeeper Steve Collis on a short-term contract until January.

The 30-year-old has been without a club since leaving Peterborough this summer and spent the final three months of last season on loan at Northampton.

He will provide cover for Jose Veiga after reserve goalkeeper Jack Cudworth underwent ankle surgery.

Meanwhile, striker John Grant, 30, has signed a new deal until January after being on non-contract terms.
