Ashley Bayes leaves Stevenage to coach
Stevenage goalkeeper Ashley Bayes has decided to leave the club in order to concentrate on his coaching career.
The veteran shot stopper, whose last Boro appearance was in April 2010, had reached the end of his contract.
A signing from Crawley in 2008 the 39-year-old played just 11 times for the Hertfordshire club.
After starting out as a Brentford trainee Bayes went on to play in 530 games during a 21-year career at clubs including Torquay, Exeter and Grays.
