Curtis McDonald has rejoined Forest Green Rovers from Newport County.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who has signed a one-year deal, moved from Rovers to the Exiles in December, but returned on loan on 24 March.

He told the club's website: "In hindsight I made a mistake leaving Forest Green and I was pleased how I did when I returned."

Goalkeeper Matt Bulman is also set to sign a two-year deal after joining from Cirencester Town.

The 24-year-old, formerly a trainee at Swindon Town, joins keeper James Bittner at the club. Bittner penned a fresh two-year contract earlier this month.

Manager Dave Hockaday said: "Matt Bulman has worked with James Bittner at Salisbury and will push for the number one spot. He kicks a country mile and is one for the future."
