Liam Phillips retains BMX Supercross World Cup lead

Great Britain's Liam Phillips finished third in the second round of the BMX Supercross World Cup to retain his overall lead in the competition.

The world champion, who won the opening round in Manchester, is on 390 points, 40 ahead of Australia's Anthony Dean.

Phillips, who was second in the time trial on Saturday, finished behind Australian Sam Willoughby and Dutchman Twan van Gendt in the Netherlands.

The third round of the series takes place in Berlin on 14-15 June.
