It helps if you're 'odd' in time trial

Great Britain's Sir Bradley Wiggins thinks success can be achieved in the time trial if you have "special and odd" characteristics.

This year's time trial event at the Road World Championships takes place on Wednesday in Tuscany with Wiggins heading a stellar list of contenders, including defending champion Tony Martin from Germany, four-time world champion Fabian Cancellara, America's Taylor Phinney and Briton Alex Dowsett.

The Olympic champion, who won the Tour of Britain on Sunday, says there is "nowhere to hide" on the Italy course but he is feeling "brilliant" ahead of the event.
