Cook says England will play tough

England captain Alastair Cook promises his radically overhauled team will play "tough cricket" in the first Test against Sri Lanka, which begins on Thursday.

The match follows a feisty end to the one-day series between the sides, which Sri Lanka won thanks - in part - to the controversial run-out of Jos Buttler at Edgbaston.

BBC Sport's Joe Wilson reports.
