Champions Trophy 'great' for Bears

Warwickshire chief executive Colin Povey tells BBC WM that staging the Champions Trophy makes up for missing out an Ashes Test.

Five Champions Trophy games will be played at Edgbaston, starting with England's opening group game against Australia on Saturday and concluding with the final on 23 June.

"We were clearly very disappointed not to get an Ashes Test, but getting this batch of matches is a real fillip for us," said Povey.

"It's the first time there's been a global tournament played in England and the final has not been at Lord's. It's a feather in our cap and a fantastic opportunity for the city of Birmingham."
