Flower defends follow-on decision

Team director Andy Flower defends England's decision not to enforce the follow-on after New Zealand are defeated at Headingley for a 2-0 series win.

Flower praises the "outstanding" Joe Root after the young Yorkshire batsman made his maiden Test century.

Opener Nick Compton is encouraged to "get back into form" by scoring "heavy runs" for Somerset ahead of the Ashes, which begins on 10 July at Trent Bridge.
