Chanderpaul deal shows Derbys aims

Derbyshire chief executive Simon Storey tells BBC Radio Derby that signing Shivnarine Chanderpaul sends out a huge message of intent for the coming season.

The West Indies batsman, who has joined on a two-year contract, has scored more than 10,500 runs in 146 Test matches at an average of 51.67.

The 38-year-old is expected to be available for all three domestic competitions during the 2013 campaign.
