Scotland will open their CB40 campaign in Edinburgh against Surrey Lions and Nottinghamshire Outlaws.

The Grange will host the matches on 6 and 7 May, while the following games against Welsh Dragons and Hampshire Hawks will be played in Uddingston on 13 and 20 May.

The Saltires then face six consecutive matches on the road.

The Grange will again host the final two contests with Durham Dynamos and Somerset Sabres on 5 and 19 August.

Aberdeenshire's Mannofield ground was due to be the venue for the opening double-header but the pitch has been damaged by a suspected act of vandalism.

Groundstaff believe a powerful weed-killer has been poured over large sections of the square.

While work is underway at Mannofield to remedy the pitch for an Intercontinental Cup clash with Canada in July, those at Uddingston are thrilled to be involved in the CB40.

"It's wonderful news for Uddingston Cricket Club and the surrounding community," said groundsman Paul Hoffman, a former opening bowler for Scotland.

"Since I took over the groundsman duties here I have always been motivated by the possibility of hosting Scotland games and producing the best surface I possibly can for a great game of cricket.

"I am already really looking forward to it. Fingers crossed for good weather."

Scotland will be looking to build on victories against Northants and Warwickshire in this year's tournament.
