BBC Sport's Rebecca Adlington could not contain her emotions as England's Adam Peaty wins gold in the men's 100m breaststroke at Glasgow 2014.

Peaty spoke after the race about his game plan after beating his "idol and now rival" Cameron van der Burgh of South Africa who finished in second.

Scotland's Ross Murdoch continued his impressive showing in the Commonwealth Games by winning bronze, his second medal of the championships.
