Great Birmingham Run highlights

Great Britain's Gemma Steel wins the Great Birmingham Run in a course record time of one hour, 10 minutes and 19 seconds ahead of Kenya's Purity Kimetto.

Uganda's Thomas Ayeko won the men's half marathon on his debut, with Britain's Chris Thompson holding off Abdi Abdirahman of the USA to take second.

Simon Lawson won the men's wheelchair race after David Weir was ruled out early on with a puncture, while Jade Jones took home honours in the women's race.
