Dobriskey upbeat despite funding axe

British 1500m runner Lisa Dobriskey tells BBC East Midlands today that she still believes she has the potential to win a medal at the Olympic Games in 2016 despite losing her lottery funding.

The 29-year-old, who won silver at the World Championships in 2009, finished 10th at London 2012 but will not receive any money from UK Sport in 2013-14 as part of their 'podium' programme.

Dobriskey feels her injury record was a factor in losing her funding, which she describes as "harsh and a difficult blow to take".
