Pearce and Giggs want to win

Team GB captain Ryan Giggs says he is looking forward to playing in his first major international tournament ahead of their opening game of the Olympics on Thursday against Senegal.

Manager Stuart Pearce claims his side are "improving all the time", despite their 2-0 defeat to Brazil in a warm-up game and believes that Team GB's group is "pretty open".

Team GB's Group A campaign sees them face Senegal on Thursday, United Arab Emirates at Wembley on 29 July and Uruguay at Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on 1 August.
