Lizzy Yarnold wins skeleton gold at World Cup in Winterberg
Britain's Lizzy Yarnold took her third World Cup win of the season with a gold medal at Winterberg.
Yarnold was tied with American Noelle Pikus-Pace after the first run but a clean second run saw her win by more than half a second in Germany.
She has finished on the podium in all five World Cup races this season and is a strong medal contender for next month's Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Yarnold said: "I'm starting to dream ahead now to Sochi 2014."

She leads the World Cup standings from her great rival this season Pikus-Pace, who has won the other two races on the top level circuit.

There are three more World Cup races left, in St Moritz, Igls and Konigssee before the Winter Games begin in Sochi, Russia, on 7 February.
