Laura Robson into second round in WTA Shenzhen Open

Laura Robson breezed past Edina Gallovits-Hall to reach the second round of the Shenzhen Open.

The 18-year-old won 6-2 6-1 against the Romanian ranked 55 places below her.

Robson, ranked 53 in the world, won 80% of her first service points as Gallovits-Hall contributed to her own downfall with eight double faults.

The British number two will meet Gallovits-Hall's compatriot Monica Niculescu, who is 58th in standings, in the second round in China.
