Andy Murray is knocked out of Cincinnati Open by Jeremy Chardy

Andy Murray has been knocked out of the Cincinnati Open, beaten 6-4 6-4 in the third round by Frenchman Jeremy Chardy.

Murray, who beat Sam Querrey on Wednesday, looked out of sorts, hitting 16 unforced errors in the second set.

"This was like my second or third match on the hard courts. I played well yesterday - didn't play so well today," said the world number four.

Roger Federer is through though after beating Australian teenager Bernard Tomic 6-2 6-4.
