Yorkshire's Kyle Edmund saw his French Open boys' singles campaign come to an end with a 6-4 6-3 defeat by sixth seed Kimmer Coppejans of Belgium.
The 17-year-old eliminated second seed Gianluigi Quinzi 7-6 (7-1) 1-6 6-4 in the third round to reach the last eight at a third successive Grand Slam.
But he could not reach the last four as Coppejans won in 75 minutes.
British top seeds Liam Broady and Josh Ward-Hibbert lost to Enzo Couacaud and Alexandre Favrot in the doubles.
The last British representatives in the junior tournament, Broady and Ward-Hibbert were beaten 3-6 6-3 10-8.
