Speedway: Dakota North looks forward to Ipswich Witches return

Ipswich Witches youngster Dakota North is looking forward to getting back on the bike regularly after a winter of little riding.

The Australian, a visiting rider for Ipswich in 2011, has only competed in the Under-21 Championship and a Pairs event in Victoria since last season.

The 20-year-old said: "I have just been working for my dad and water-skiing as much as I can to keep up my fitness.

"I think it should be a good season in the UK. I like Ipswich a lot ."

He added: "I should be scoring big at home plus I will be trying to be more consistent away as well."
