Bristol: Jason Hobson signs new deal with Championship club

Bristol prop Jason Hobson has signed a new deal to keep him at the Championship club until 2015.

The long-serving 30-year-old made his Bristol debut in 2003 and has now made 100 competitive appearances.

Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told the club website:  "Jason is one of the most experienced players in this squad and he's a good example to the young props coming through.

"Jason plays with his heart on his sleeve and shows passion for Bristol."

Hobson added: "I've spent the large majority of my career playing for Bristol and it's a club and city that is very close to me.

"We've had a difficult few years but there is real optimism that Bristol are moving forward now. I want to be a part of the exciting new direction and it's my ambition to represent this club in the Premiership again."
