Edinburgh centre Nick De Luca has seen
his 13-week ban for a dangerous tackle reduced
by six weeks after an appeal against the severity of the suspension.
The Scotland international will therefore be available for the club's away match against Treviso on 19 April.
De Luca was sent off for a "tip tackle" on Tom Grabham during a 24-7 loss to Ospreys in late February.
But the challenge has now been downgraded to a mid-range offence by a RaboDirect PRO12 Appeal Committee.
A mid-range offence carries an entry point of eight weeks.
A further two weeks was added to the ban to reflect the need for a deterrent and allowed a mitigation of three weeks in arriving at a revised sanction of seven weeks.
