Worcester secured a bonus-point victory over Spanish side Bizakaia Gernika in their last European game of the season.

Perpignan's 44-22 win over Italian side Rovigo on Thursday was enough to secure top spot in Pool B ahead of Warriors.

Tries from Josh Drauniniu, Errie Claassens (2), Nikki Walker, Jake Abbott and Danny Gray gave Warriors a 38-16 lead at the break.

Blair Cowan then went over, Walker and Drauniniu doubled their tallies and Aleki Lutui and Ben Howard also scored.

Santi Salas had secured the Spanish side's only try early in the first half.

Worcester matched Perpignan's 25-point total but the Catalan side topped the group as a result of their superior record in the two head-to-head meetings.

In results terms, the Warriors and Perpignan both won once each, but the next deciding factor was tries scored in those two matches - and the Catalan side won that battle 3-1.

Perpignan's bonus point on Thursday night, in outscoring Rovigo six tries to three, proved crucial.
