Wasps held onto top spot of Pool 3 as they shared a 13-13 Amlin Challenge Cup draw with Bayonne in Aquitaine.

Bayonne were 10-0 up at the break after Jacques-Louis Potgieter's penalty and Marvin O'Connor's try on the stroke of half-time, converted by Cedric Garcia.

Nicky Robinson's penalty reduced the arrears early in the second half before a try from Christian Wade made it 10-8.

But, although Potgieter added another penalty, prop Phil Swainston's try six minutes from time secured a draw.
