Pre-season friendly: NG Dragons 18-12 London Irish

Tries from Steffan Jones and Adam Hughes helped the Dragons beat London Irish in a friendly at Rodney Parade.

Wing Tom Prydie put the Dragons on the scoreboard with a penalty on seven minutes with Jones crossing for a solo try three minutes later.

Tom Homer and Prydie swapped kicks as Dragons led 11-3 at half time.

Dragons scored a converted try when Hughes went over to take the lead to 15 points Irish came back with three Steven Shingler penalties.
