Fly-half Danny Cipriani tells BBC Radio Manchester that the foundations are in place for Sale Sharks to have a successful season.
Sale are moving into a new stadium, have appointed a new coach in Bryan Redpath and will play in the Heineken Cup next season.
Cipriani signed a three-year deal with the Premiership club after spending two years in Australia with Melbourne Rebels.
