Ferris and Pienaar on ERC Player of the Year shortlist

Ulster stars Stephen Ferris and Ruan Pienaar have been included in the shortlist for the prestigious ERC European Player of the Year.

Four of the five players named will be in action in Saturday's Heineken Cup final at Twickenham.

Leinster's Jonathan Sexton and Rob Kearney are also on the shortlist along with Toulon's Jonny Wilkinson.

Ferris and Pienaar have been pivotal in Ulster's progress to the final. Pienaar was man-of-the-match against Edinburgh.
