Both Glasgow and Munster had depleted squads due to the Rugby World Cup
Glasgow Warriors remain without a win in the Pro12 league after being outclassed by Munster at Firhill.
Two penalties apiece from Duncan Weir and Ian Keatley kept the tie level at 6-6 with four minutes to half-time.
But tries from Niall Ronan and Lifeimi Mafi, followed by two conversions and a penalty from Keatley put the tie out of Glasgow's reach.
Weir's second half penalties helped salvage some pride for the Warriors, who face Leinster next week.
