RFU chairman happy to talk to Sir Clive Woodward

Rugby Football Union chairman Martyn Thomas tells BBC Radio 5live's Sportsweek he would be happy to speak to Sir Clive Woodward about the position of elite performance director.

Thomas, though, is adamant the 2003 World Cup-winning would not be able to carry out his duties as director of sport at the British Olympic Association were he to take up the position with the RFU.

"We need now to get on with the process of appointing a performance director," added the chairman.
