Justin Poore, Jon Wilkin & Gareth Ellis among five banned players

Five Super League players have been suspended after appearing before an RFL disciplinary tribunal.

Justin Poore of Hull KR has been banned for three matches and fined £300 for a dangerous throw on Bradford Bulls' Matty Blythe during Sunday's match.

St Helens' Jon Wilkin is suspended for two fixtures and has to pay £300 for a high tackle on Wakefield's Chris Riley.

Hull's Gareth Ellis received a two-game ban for a dangerous shoulder charge on Kevin Brown of Widnes Vikings.

St Helens' Kyle Amor and Brown's team-mate Willie Isa were handed one-match bans.

Amor was punished for a high tackle on Wakefield Trinity Wildcats' Matt Ryan, while Isa was found guilty of recklessly striking Hull FC's Aaron Heremaia.

Amor and Wilkin will now miss Friday's top-of-the-table clash with Leeds Rhinos at Langtree Park.

Below Super League level, Swinton Lions duo Richie Hawkyard and Mike Morrison have each been banned for a game.

Gateshead's Tom Lynch received a one-match ban for punching, with team-mate Sam Lynch losing the right to submit an early guilty plea in the next 12 months after admitting to punching.
