Warrington: James Laithwaite breaks ankle playing for Swinton

Warrington Wolves forward James Laithwaite will be out of action for the next six weeks with a broken ankle.

The 21-year-old back-rower has been playing on dual registration for Championship side Swinton Lions.

And Laithwaite, who had a loan spell at Hull KR last season and made his Wolves debut against them last month, was hurt in Monday's 38-18 loss at Featherstone.

"Absolutely gutted, this is all I need," he tweeted,  along with a picture of his injured left ankle.

Meanwhile, Warrington ran in 10 tries as they beat London Broncos 54-20 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium to go third in Super League.
