Wakefield: Richie Mathers signs two-year deal

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have signed full-back Richie Mathers from Castleford Tigers on a two-year deal.

Mathers, 28, spent the whole of the 2012 campaign on loan with the Wildcats and made 27 appearances to help Richard Agar's side to an eighth-placed finish.

He told the club website:  "From day one the club, the fans and everybody associated with the club welcomed me with open arms.

"I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a season as much."
