Brett Carter signs Workington Town contract extension
Newly-promoted Workington Town have extended the contract of full-back Brett Carter.
The 23-year-old, who joined from Barrow in 2009, scored six league tries this campaign as Town achieved promotion to the Championship.
The club have not disclosed the length of Carter's new deal.
"It wasn't a difficult decision to make, a lot of my friends are here, and the team spirit is fantastic," Carter told the club website.
"I love playing for Town and I'm sure staying here can only be good for my career."
