"We didn't turn up. We came up with error upon error and gifted them some easy points. We came with the wrong attitude and I've told them that."
The Reds went into the game having beaten
in their previous two matches, but could not reproduce their recent form against a team two places below them in the Super League table.
"They just tend to do that against sides that are down there with us," added Veivers. "They seem to lower their performance and they've done it again here.
"I thought we had a pretty harsh call on a forward pass against Matty Ashurst. I thought it was a try and that would have put us 14 points in front.
"But even eight points up with six minutes to go, you should be able to defend that and hold them out and we didn't. I'm a pretty angry man at the moment."
